"Dames at Sea (4)," Dress Rehearsals, Priscilla Beach Theatre, Priscilla Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT) Owners and Guardians, Bob and Sandy Malone, recently completed their production of the musical comedy, "Dames at Sea," after a six performance run on the Barn Stage.  This production concludes the 2018 Performance Season of the Adult Cast Series. There is one more production this year in the Children's Workshop Series, "Shrek, Jr.," coming up soon.

The Barn Stage, a 240-seat venue, is in its 81st season and is cited as the oldest summer stock barn theatre still operating in America. The original barn was built in 1875. The current owners completed a modernization and renovation effort in 2014-15 and installed new state-of-the-art systems.

This is Part 4 of a four-part series covering dress rehearsals of "Dames at Sea," produced by Bob and Sandy Malone at Priscilla Beach Theatre. This post covers Act 2 of the final dress rehearsal.

"Dames at Sea" is a 1930's styled performance about a young girl who steps off the bus from Utah to New York City and becomes a Broadway star. But before she can become a star, she must save the show with some help from a song writing sailor.

The following images were captured live during a dress rehearsal and are in order of occurrence in the show. Many images are similar since an individual performer may look better in one image than the other and some performers will use these images to share with family, friends, and/or, to build their resumes. Cast members hail from many parts of the country and bring their extraordinary talents to this venerable theatre, some as first-timers, and some have performed here before.
